She completed her residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in 1998. Dr. Saleha Jafar is Triple Board certified in Addiction Medicine, Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.

She has 27 years of Medical Experience.

Special Interests:

Primary care, Obesity Treatment, substance abuse treatment, Suboxone treatment for those struggling with opioid dependence including pregnant patients with Opioid use disorder and Medical Marijuana Certification.

She has several years of experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including Major Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Insomnia and adult ADHD. She believes that happy patients recover faster.

Dr Jafar understands that every patient is different and requires an individual approach. She employs evidence-based latest treatment technologies to provide her patients with the highest quality of care.
